Haunted House FearFest is Coming to Scare Us This Fall!

A horror movie festival to kick off Spooky Season? Yes please! Haunted House FearFest is coming to New York City this October.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Renee Huff, of Haunted House FearFest. Renee is the owner and executive director of the festival. Haunted House FearFest is described as, “a global independent horror film festival that celebrates our passion for bone-chilling horror films and video games by cutting-edge independent filmmakers and game developers from around the world.”

Renee said that her love for horror started at an early age when she first saw “The People Under the Stairs” which is also a personal favorite of mine.

Renee believes that her personal mission “is to entertain people with fear and make dreams come true.” A goal of the festival is to promote films and video games by creatives of diverse backgrounds. Attendees of the festival can expect to see screenings of new horror films as well as video games. The festival comes to NYC this Fall from October 5th-8th.
